This Plate Presented by the Overseers to Commemorate the Important Cause of Burrell Bart agst Nicholson. Tried before Sir Thomas Denman, Knt & a Special Jury, in the Court of Kings Bench, at Westminster Hall, on the 9th December 1833, to decide the long contested right of these Parishes to rate the Inhabitants of Richmond Terrace, & Whitehall, as Parcel of the Parish of St Margaret, to the Parochial burthens, when after a Trial of 14 hours, the Jury returned a Verdict in favour of the Parishes.
